Ingredients
6 assorted bagels (plain, sesame, everything)
12 oz premium smoked salmon
8 oz plain cream cheese
8 oz chive and onion cream cheese
1 medium red onion, thinly sliced
1 large tomato, thinly sliced
1 medium English cucumber, thinly sliced
1/4 cup capers, drained
1 bunch fresh dill, for garnish
1 lemon, cut into wedges
Instructions
Slice the bagels in half and toast them until golden brown. Keep them warm wrapped in a clean kitchen towel.
Place the plain cream cheese and chive and onion cream cheese into small, attractive serving bowls and position them on opposite sides of a large wooden serving board.
Arrange the smoked salmon slices in an overlapping, ribbon-like pattern down the center of the board.
Fan out the thinly sliced red onion, tomato, and English cucumber in separate sections around the salmon and cream cheese bowls.
Spoon the drained capers into a tiny bowl or scatter them in small clusters directly on the board.
Garnish the board with fresh dill sprigs and lemon wedges. Serve immediately alongside the warm toasted bagels.
