Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs chicken tenderloins
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly coat with non-stick cooking spray.
- Create a breading station with three shallow bowls. In the first bowl, add the flour, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. In the second bowl, whisk the eggs. In the third bowl, add the panko breadcrumbs.
- Dredge each chicken tenderloin first in the seasoned flour, shaking off excess. Next, dip into the whisked eggs, and finally coat evenly with the panko breadcrumbs, pressing gently so the crumbs adhere.
- Place the coated chicken tenders onto the prepared baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.
- While the chicken is baking, whisk together the buffalo sauce and melted unsalted butter in a large bowl.
- Once the chicken tenders are baked and crispy, transfer them to the bowl with the buffalo sauce mixture. Toss gently to coat completely. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
